March 2006 ~ Week 15

Yesterday was our 2nd obstetrician appointment. He was happy the first scan results and blood tests. He then asked if we wanted to hear the baby's heart. Before he got an answer I was on the observation bed with my belly out. It was just so amazing to hear another life inside of me. We were also showed a diagram of what the baby looks like / how big it is. We're booked in for the 18-20 week scan at the end of this month at http://www.sogi.net.au/ . Would you believe this time instead of printouts we get a DVD of the live scan!!!! Am very much looking forward to it. One of my girlfriends has been there and we were amazed when we saw her 3D scan. Another of my girlfriends who is 28weeks bought a brand new pram on Ebay for $50! So if that's not incentive enough to get a bargain, I don't know what is.....
